Reading Lists

What are the Urban Equity Curated Reading Lists?

The School of Architecture + Cities, here at the University of Westminster, convened a team made up of academics, students and the School Academic Liaison Librarian, to carefully curate a set of reading lists.  They aim to help you explore a wide-range of publications relating issues of equity to the disciplines within our school.  Together, they seek to raise awareness, challenge preconceptions and broaden horizons towards more equitable environments.

The reading list for each discipline is divided into sub-sections covering a particular theme or group category, and each source listed has a useful annotation to provide a quick insight before delving deeper.  We hope these lists will support and inspire projects of all kinds.

These lists are not exhaustive and are constantly evolving.  We’d like your recommendations to help build them further.

Please get in touch with Samir Pandya (pandyas@westminster.ac.uk) if you would like to make a recommendation for a particular reading list.
